Training your brain to work for you…

You wouldn’t let it happen to your phone!

Do you keep an eye on the battery level of your phone to make sure it doesn’t run out of energy just when you need it?

Chances are you recharge your phone regularly, and maybe give it the odd boost if you’ve been using it a lot.

But what, if anything, are you doing to protect your personal energy levels during the day?

Hopefully you’ve had an opportunity to relax and recharge over the Bank Holiday. Even just a few days away from the usual demands of work can boost your mood and your creativity.

But personal energy levels, just like a phone battery, run down, and it’s important to make time to recharge them, to avoid this particular sort of energy crisis.

Everyone has their favorite way or ways of recharging and these may vary depending on what sort of day you’re having, and the time you have available.

It’s not so much a question of what or how much you do, but that you do something rather than nothing.

If taking time out of your already busy day seems daunting, start small – 5 to 10 minutes can be enough to bring benefits.

Energy is precious – protect yours and recharge daily.
